About us

Forsbacka Golfklubb is a member-managed non-profit sports association established in 1969.

The course, which was completed in 1972, is a scenic golf course designed by Nils Sköld.
During the summer months, there are approximately 850 members and 6,000 guests who visit the scenic course.

Six full-time employees and up to 20 people receive their income from Forsbacka during the season.

Here there is a hotel, shop, restaurant, golf course and cultural buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries.
The golf facility is ranked as one of Sweden’s best and it is located in a very beautiful location, nicknamed The Dalsland Beauty.

Forsbacka hotel and restaurant is 10 minutes’ drive from central Åmål. Live with a view of Forsbacka Golfklubb’s park and forest course, beautifully situated by and around Lake Forsbacka. Beautiful rooms and good food. Breakfast, café and lunch every day during the golf season.

Welcome to Forsbacka GK and the Jägmästar wing.

Forsbacka ranks as one of the country’s most beautiful courses with many challenging water holes. Here you live in the historic wing from 1747 directly adjacent to the first tee. Enjoy a beautiful manor environment, wonderful golfing and enjoy a good 3-course dinner in our restaurant.

    Parking spaces

    Pitch 220 SEK/night

    Here at Forsbacka GK we have 15 pitches with electricity, these pitches can only be pre-booked. If you want to come and stand on the pitches, it costs SEK 220 for each night you stand, then you have the place until 11.00 the next day. When it comes to the toilet and shower, you will find it in the large, red building to the right of the white mansion building. The changing rooms are open 24 hours a day during the season.
